Mandy Stanley worked as a children's-wear designer before setting up her own design company. She has designed a wide range of products for babies and children including some award-winning toys. She now concentrates on writing and illustrating children's books and has been published by HarperCollins, Bloomsbury, Ladybird, Sandviks, Kingfisher and Little Tiger Press. Who Tickled Tilly? is her first title with Chrysalis Children's Books. Mandy lives in Suffolk.
