Zusammenfassung
There's Kiffo: a waster, hoon, class idiot and part-time criminal. Then there's Miss Payne: the Hound of the Baskervilles. And me. I hope you're a bit curious about me. My name is Calma and the biggest thing about me is my boobs. And you can forget all the jokes about my first name.

The Whole Business with Kiffo and the Pit Bull by Barry Jonsberg
When Calma and Kiffo see their new teacher, aka The Pit Bull, involved in strange late-night goings-on they can think only one thing: Drug Deal Going Down! So they decide to stake out her home, tail her on the motorbike, and get some serious evidence...This story is full of surprises and displays some very real moments of poignancy and sadness, as well as scene after scene of uproariously funny moments. You just have to read the first few pages to realise how sensationally funny and gifted Barry is.
Born in Liverpool, so long ago, he says, birth had only just been invented, Barry trained as a teacher and began lecturing in Crewe. Shortly after meeting his future wife, also a teacher, the couple emigrated to Australia, where they were married on the beach by a celebrant on a Harley Davidson. Though living in Australia, Barry still follows English sport avidly (and is having a hard time getting over Campbell's disallowed goal). He has four daughters, one of whom, Lauren, inspired the character Calma.
