Lucky Seven by Alexis Zegerman

A comedy about growing up, class, love, disappointment and hope, inspired by the Seven Up television series. Working-class Alan, upper-class Catherine and middle-class Tom are part of a social litmus test, reunited every seven years to expose themselves to the nation. But waiting on the sofa for director David to arrive, they reveal far more to each other than they ever will to camera. Alexis Zegerman's play Lucky Seven was first staged at Hampstead Theatre, London, in October 2008.

'Wit and flair.. Zegerman, who has acted a lot with Mike Leigh, has inherited much of his gift for rueful social observation'
