Born in Charleston where he still lives with his wife Harriet, Jordan is a graduate of the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, with a degree in physics. He served 2 tours in Vietnam. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, sailing, poker, chess, pool & pipe collecting.
