1946. No Edition Remarks. Unpaginated. Full blue leather with gilt lettering to front. The name Edward Birchall in gilt on front. Route plan present in rear pocket. Includes photographic plates. Pages and binding are presentable with common faults. Some issues present such as cracking, inscriptions, inserts, moderate foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Text block loosening from boards. Frontispiece very mottled. Boards have heavy edge wear, with intense bumping and peeling to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and frayed. Joints worn too with splits. Scratched, rubbed, mottled and dust-marked overall. Boards are notably bowed. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt is bright.
