A Tupolev Too Far by Brian Aldiss
A glittering twelve story collection from Britain’s best loved Sci-Fi writer. The twelve stories in this collection from Britain’s best-loved, most respected science fiction author assemble a mindscape of place as close as Prague, the Aswan Sheraton, an Oxford Garden where an orgy takes place, and Moscow; and as distant as the Afterworld, a cabbage planet, and the heart of our galaxy. A far-ranging and sparkling collection, replete with Aldiss’ trademark black humour.‘Aldiss is a magician’ Sunday Times
‘The titan of science fiction’ Telegraph
‘Brian Aldiss is one of the most influential – and one of the best – SF writers Britain has ever produced.’ Iain M Banks
‘The best contemporary writer of science fiction.’ Guardian
‘One of the truly prophetic figures of the space age… the colossus of science fiction’
New Yorker
‘Once again he demonstrates the power of his imagination.’ Daily Mail
