This new full colour spiral bound street atlas extends with continuous coverage from the centres of Nottingham and Derby to Ripley, Hucknall and Calverton to the north, East Bridgford, Bingham and Cropwell Bishop to the east, Keyworth, Kegworth, East Midlands Airport and Melbourne to the south and Etwall, Mickleover, Duffield and Belper to the west. The key map on pages 2-3 shows this coverage. Large scale (8.5 inches to 1 mile) city centre maps of both Nottingham and Derby are featured on pages 4-7. The mapping is based upon the national grid and the Contents and Reference panel on page 1 shows the colour scheme that depicts important buildings with different colour infills e.g. educational establishments have an orange infill and hospitals and hospices have a green infill. Roads that have restricted access are shown with a purple infill and pedestrianized roads have a pink infill. Fire Stations and Post Offices are shown by red squares and stars respectively, while Police Stations are represented by a blue triangle. Parking symbols are shown in blue. The scale is shown in metric as well as imperial. In the street index section selected places of interest are included and highlighted in red type. The back cover features a road map of the surrounding area and a Nottingham and Derby Rail Connections map.
