James Carter is a primary teacher with an MA in Children's Literature. He regularly gives readings and performances in schools, libraries, bookshops and festivals, often with his very own electric guitar. His poems have been included in over fifty children's anthologies, although this is his first collection. He lives in Oxfordshire. Mique Moriuchi is a children's book illustrator (as well as greetings card designer) and often works with bits and pieces, textured paint and collage for her rich and unique images. She lives in Cornwall.
