George Forty served for 32 years in the Royal Tank Regiment and was later appointed Director and Curator of the world-famous Tank Museum in Bovington, Dorset, England. Jack Livesey's love of armoured fighting vehicles started after a visit to the Imperial War Museum in London at the age of 12. He worked for the museum's branch at Duxford, which has a large collection of British and Soviet military vehicles.
