Nigel Atherton (General Editor) is currently the Group Editor of Amateur Photographer and What Digital Camera magazines. Nigel studied photography, film and TV production before becoming a cruise ship travel photographer, an MoD photographer and a technical helpline manager for a camera manufacturer. He joined Amateur Photographer magazine as a technique writer in 1994, before becoming Editor of What Digital Camera in 2002. He became Group Editor of the Time Inc UK photography portfolio in 2013.
