Born and raised in Belgium, Morrismoved to the United States in 1946 for six years. There, he worked for MAD magazine and met Ren�Goscinny, with whom he collaborated from 1955 until Goscinny's death in 1977. JeanL�turgieco-created the character of Percevanbefore he began an enduring cooperation with XavierFauchethat produced eight Lucky Luketitles, followed by the spin-off series Rantanplan(Rin Tin Can) and Kid Lucky. Yannis known for his ferocious humour and his enduring cynicism; he's one of the most essential writers of the comics scene, with over 50 series under his belt.
