The Mad Mission of Jasmin J. by Jon Blake
The last time we met Jasmin, she was writing for her life! But she saw the awful author Dorothy Wordsearch being eaten by a monster ...so how can she still be writing stories? It's time for Jasmin to investigate - helped, but mainly hindered, by her hyper sidekick Kevin Shilling. And when Kevin is won over by a sinister new enemy, Jasmin will need all her wits to save him from a terrible fate ...
The Deadly Secret of Dorothy W: 'The pace does not flag ... deals with writing stories and children's authors in a slyly humorous way. This gives the book an original slant.' -- Narinder Dhami, Writing Magazine 20030420 'It's original and witty, full of amusing characterisation - a funny adventure story which credits its readers with intelligence.' -- BfK 20030501 'The children I spoke to enjoyed reading teh novel and found the disgusting ending particularly appealing. It may even inspire young readers to become young writers.' -- The School Librarian 20040801
