Includes 2-page Preface by author. Rough-cut pages. Contains 15 black & White illustrations, including photographic frontispiece of the author. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. More pronounced to other pages, including end-papers. Pen inscription to front free end-paper. Thumb-marking & staining present. Binding remains firm. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping and rubbing to surfaces. Marked crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is somewhat dulled. Heavy water staining to spine. Book is bowed.
