To regain Nugget's trust, Fang takes desperate (and hilarious) measures. But it's not until his big sharp teeth save the entire school that minnows learn this shark is no foe. Tammi Sauer, a former teacher and library media specialist, is the full-time author of a number of popular picture books, including Arthur Howard's Silent Wyatt and Michael Slack's Nugget and Fang and Nugget and Fang Go to School. Her aim is to get students enthused about reading and writing. Tropical tea is another of her passions. Tammi and her family live in Edmond, Oklahoma, with one dog, two geckos, and an assortment of fish in a tank.
