Gillian Slovo: Gillian Slovo was born in South Africa and lives in London. She is the author of ten novels and a family memoir, Every Secret Thing. Previous plays include verbatim play Guantanamo: Honour Bound to Defend Freedom, published & performed to great acclaim.
