Storytime: The Greedy Rainbow by Susan Chandler

When one little rainbow lands in the rainforest, it causes BIG trouble! Monkey finds the rainbow in a tree and decides to show it to his friends. But as he swings through the forest something strange starts to happen...the rainforest is losing its colours, while the rainbow is growing bigger and bigger! Before long, the rainbow is huge, but the jungle is grey and the animals are very sad. Monkey tells the rainbow off for being greedy and eating all the colours. The rainbow starts to cry, soaking the forest with multicoloured tears. Everything and everyone gets their colours back. Just not their original colours...QED's Storytime series is going from strength to strength and has recently had several titles read on CBeebies Bedtime Stories.
