Unmasking Mr.Kipper by Christopher Berry-Dee

Criminologist, Christopher Berry-Dee can claim to know better than anyone the mind of Michael Sams, convicted of the kidnapping of Stephanie Slater and the murder of Julie Dart. His conclusion that Sams was also Mr Kipper, notorious killer of estate agent Suzy Lamplugh, is based on: interviews with both Sams and his wife, Teena; exclusive access to letters from Sams to his wife, his friends and the author; and the personal and operational details with he has unearthed, linking all Sams's abductions and murders over a period of 20 years. This work of detection takes readers through Sams's descent from gifted athlete and intelligent businessman, with all the trappings of success, to wretched one-legged killer, rapist, kidnapper and extortionist. Based on information provided by the author, the Metropolitan Police began digging in February 1995 for Suzy's body in the garden of Sams's former in Peterborough. The book also reveals that Sams did work with an accomplice, still at large. Christopher Berry-Dee is the author (with Robin Odell) of Ladykiller, on the killer, John Cannan.
